Here's the problem.
Not all collagen is the same. And most of it won't do a thing for your dog's joints.
Three things have to be right. Get one wrong, and it fails.
First, the type.
The kind that actually rebuilds joints is hydrolyzed collagen.
"Hydrolyzed" just means it's been broken down small enough for the body to absorb and send to the joint.
That part is expensive. Breaking collagen down that small costs real money. So most brands skip it.
They use cheap, regular collagen instead. The kind that's too big to absorb.
So it passes straight through and never reaches the cushion.
Same goes for Undenatured Type II, the special kind that calms the breakdown.
Most products don't include it. It costs too much.
Second, the dose.
Even with the right type, joints need a real amount to rebuild.
For real results, you want at least 3,000mg of hydrolysed collagen, plus at least 40mg of undenatured Type II.
Most chews have a tiny sprinkle. Not even close to enough.
Third, the absorption.
Get the type and dose right, and it finally gets where it needs to go.
Into the joint, rebuilding the cushion.
Wrong type. Too little. Can't absorb.
That's why most collagen never works.
And it's exactly what we set out to fix.
